Nintendo Alarmo: a unique alarm clock for €100
You could almost think it was a friendly provocation. To keep fans waiting until the official announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2, the brand is unveiling a new alarm clock under the name Alarmo.
Alarmo is a small alarm clock with rounded shapes covered in red which obviously recalls Nintendo’s main color. In addition to displaying the time and date, it provides access to numerous themes and connects to the internet.
A connection that allows it to accommodate even more sounds to download for free from the Nintendo site. Initially, it offers 35 different alarms taken from the platform’s iconic games like Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: breath of the Wild, Pikmin 4, Splatoon 3 and many others.
Better yet, it detects movements. The principle is simple, if the person stays in bed too long, the volume gradually increases. Conversely, as soon as you get out of bed, it turns off automatically. During the night, it is able to monitor sleep. To see if this is an effective or childish measure.
Nintendo Alarmo is now available for sale exclusively for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers until mid-January 2025. Otherwise, you will have to wait until the exclusivity ends. Sold for $99, so around €100 in France.
