TOTALENERGIES: JP Morgan still buying

TotalEnergies SE is one of the world’s leading oil groups. Turnover is broken down by activity as follows: – refining and chemicals (42.7%): refining of petroleum products (operation, at the end of 2023, of 16 refineries worldwide) and manufacturing of basic chemicals (olefins, aromatics, polyethylenes, fertilizers, etc.) and specialties (rubber, resins, adhesives, etc.). In addition, the group carries out trading and maritime transport activities of crude oil and petroleum products; – distribution of petroleum products (37.9%): operation, at the end of 2023, of 14,571 service stations worldwide; – electricity generation (11.5%): from combined cycle gas power plants and renewable energies; – production, trading, transport and distribution of gas (5%): notably liquefied natural gas (44.3 million tonnes sold in 2023), natural gas, biogas, hydrogen, liquefied petroleum gas, etc. – exploration and production of hydrocarbons (2.8%): 2.5 million barrels of oil equivalent produced per day in 2023; – others (0.1%). The geographical distribution of turnover is as follows: (23.4%), Europe (41.2%), North America (9.4%), Africa (9.2%) and others (16.8%) .
