In this film, Michel Blanc plays a widowed farmer, overwhelmed by grief. And now alone to take on the work on the farm, he wants to find a woman to help him with his daily tasks. He then goes through a marriage agency, which puts him in touch with a Romanian woman, ready to do anything to leave poverty behind.
The viewer follows the love story between these two endearing and sincere characters. An adventure which totaled nearly 3.5 million cinema admissions in 2005, and brought together 5.2 million viewers in front of their television screens on Friday October 4. The channel was well ahead of the new game “10 out of 10, how much do you get?” », inspired by the board game and hosted by Arthur on TF1. This show attracted around 2.3 million viewers. Comedy takes third place on the podium ” Liar “worn by Tarek Boudali and Artus, which made 1.5 million viewers laugh.

In the second part of the evening on Friday, France 2 broadcast the show “One day, one destiny”dedicated to the Splendid troupe, in which Michel Blanc was part alongside Christian Clavier Gérard Jugnot, Thierry Lhermitte, Josiane Balasko, Marie-Anne Chazel and Bruno Moynot.
