Bad operation for OM. The Phocéens were held in check at the Vélodrome stadium against Angers (1-1), bottom of Ligue 1. This is the second consecutive match without a victory for Roberto De Zerbi’s players, after the defeat conceded on the lawn of Strasbourg (1-0).
“I accepted the compliments after the good results, now I have to accept the criticism”declared the Italian technician after the meeting.
“We must accept. It’s hard, we’re left with a defeat and this draw. We got off to a very good start, with lots of victories, goals and chances. Now we have to live with these results”added De Zerbi.
“Building a great Marseille”
“We must be aware that we are trying to build a great Marseille and that it does not happen suddenly. We have to go through matches like the one in Strasbourg and the one this evening”explained the Marseille coach again.
De Zerbi also noted that some of his players were going through a less prosperous period. “It’s a difficult moment. The episodes are not going our way, some decisive players are not in good shape and did not play their best game. Luis Henrique, Greenwood, Hojbjerg… They were a little imprecise in their first gestures”he said.
