Like the weak general mobilization observed during the inter-professional day of October 1, to which the CGT, the FSU, the Solidaires trade union and youth organizations called, the federations of civil servants struggled to gather their troops to this opportunity. According to figures communicated by the Ministry of the Civil Service at the end of the day, the State civil service counted 4.45% of strikers (4.69% excluding La Poste, Orange and the CDC), a figure carried by the National Education – it falls to 2.08% excluding MEN –, which displays a mobilization of 5.54%, and Bercy (5.41% participation). Note that several ministries or services have not communicated their data (MESR, Matignon, Court of Auditors). The mobilization rate is 3.22% for the territorial civil service and 3.10% for the hospital sector.
