After Rammstein’s concert at the King Baudouin Stadium, the victim had gotten into a taxi parked on Surlet de Chokierplein in Sint-Joost-ten-Noode, near the Madou metro station, police said. “The driver took the victim to a remote location and brutally raped her.”
The suspect is approximately 35 years old and 1.85 meters tall and drove a taxi with a red or dark orange light sign. He is also heavily built, has a white skin color and dark blond curly hair.
As part of this investigation, the police are looking for taxi drivers who were standing near Madou and who saw a young woman wearing a Rammstein T-shirt get into the taxi that was parked in front of them.
Taxi companies operating in Brussels are also asked to check whether a taxi driver who matches the description of the suspect was employed on the evening of August 4, 2023.
