Home country Croatia and Egypt went to the Head Group 4 last night with the quarter -final places. Iceland goes.
Croatia, Egypt and Iceland all finished on six points. Based on the mutual goal balance, the home country (+2) and the Africans (+1) continue. Iceland (-3) falls off.
In the final round, Croatia in Zagreb picked up the important two-tunter against Slovenia: 29-26. Halfway it was still 15-15. With eight stops (35%), goalkeeper Dominik Kuzmanovic, just like against Iceland, was important for the Croats.
As a group head, Croatia avoids the last eight France. On Tuesday evening at 6:00 pm, Croatia – Hungary is and then (21:00), France and Egypt play for a place in the final weekend of the World Cup.
