That's it, after two years of waiting, The Night Agent returns to Netflix. In season 2, Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso) officially joins the Night Action, an ultra secret agency led by the President of the United States. For his first mission, our hero finds himself in Bangkok with his new partner Alice, in order to track down a CIA man who resells ultra -confidential information.
Pitch Perfect fans will have recognized the actress who lends her features to her: Brittany Snow. The 38 -year -old young woman slips here in the shoes of a confirmed agent of the Night Action who must train Peter on the ground. And the two characters share quite intense scenes.
“I wanted someone whose name is known”
If Snow makes a remarkable appearance in season 2 of The Night Agent, it is for a very specific reason, as revealed by the creator of the Shawn Ryan series in the production notes:
“Brittany had spent the hearing to play Rose in season 1 and I really liked what she offered. Finally, we chose Lucianewhich, I think, was the right thing to do, but I have never forgotten Brittany. We wanted someone who draws attention as soon as they appear on the screen. I wanted someone whose name is known. During my career, I managed to have people play in different genres from those in which you are used to seeing them. ”
