NARRATIVE – The young actor plays the singer in “A Perfect Stranger”, directed by James Mangold. A feature film dubbed by the person concerned and which should earn him new fans.

In 2016, American author Elijah Wald received an offer to buy the rights to his work entitled Electric Bob Dylan , with this subtitle « Newport 1965, from folk to rock, story of a coup d'état » (Rivages, “Red”), published only a year earlier. On the other end of the line, Jeff Rosen, Bob Dylan's manager since the late 1990s. « My first reaction was : why do they need me since they have Dylan himself on hand ? », recalls the now sixty-year-old, whom we reached by telephone at his home on the east coast of the United States. « Maybe it's because my book tells a story : that of Dylan and Pete Seeger in a way that it had never been told before. They took that idea, but they invented a parallel reality bringing the two men together in the same room. I think it’s a great way to adapt the book for the screen.
