Met Éireann has issued a level yellow rain warning for County Waterford.
The warning, which was issued on Saturday indicated a ‘moderate weather warning for rain’ in the Déise county.
The public can expect heavy downpours which may lead to spot flooding in places.
The warning will be in place from 5am to 5pm on Sunday, January 26. In addition to Waterford other neighbouring or nearby counties for which a similar warning was given include Kilkenny, Wexford, Carlow, Cork, Tipperary, Wicklow and Kerry.
