Algeria Football– The director of the July 5 stadium, Mohamed Hadj Ali, confirmed this Friday the full preparation of the legendary venue to host the long-awaited Algerian derby between MC Alger and USM Alger.
In a statement given to national radio, Mohamed Hadj Ali affirmed that preparations for this sporting event were taking place in the best conditions. “The organizational aspects linked to the meeting between the MCA and the USMA are taking place normally,” he declared, thus reassuring the supporters of the two clubs as to the good holding of this essential meeting of Algerian football.

The stadium director also wanted to underline the importance of this meeting for local football. “We are ensuring that all the conditions are met for it to be a true football celebration,” he added, reflecting the symbolic and popular stakes represented by this historic derby.
A lawn in good condition despite a busy schedule
Asked about the state of the stadium pitch, often singled out during previous matches, Mohamed Hadj Ali wanted to be reassuring. “The pitch is in good condition, despite the large number of matches that have taken place there so far, reaching a total of 34 matches, not including training sessions,” he said.
The July 5 stadium, which is one of the most emblematic in the country, has been subject to heavy demand in recent months. Nevertheless, the constant efforts of the maintenance teams seem to be bearing fruit in guaranteeing an optimal playing surface for players.
