This Friday, January 24, TF1 is broadcasting “Merci Dorothée!”, a tribute show retracing the impressive career of the French singer. Invited to the set alongside Nikos Aliagas, Dorothée will offer a nice surprise to viewers.
Dorothée is back on the small screen! Thirty years after the end of Dorothée Clubthe former host will be in the spotlight this Friday evening on TF1 in a special program entitled Thank you Dorothy!.

At the helm of this exceptional evening, Nikos Aliagas will welcome Dorothée as well as her former accomplices: Jacky, Patrick Simpson-Jones, Hélène Rollès and the actors of the Mysteries of love. Other personalities, like Julien Doré, Amir and Nolwenn Leroy, will also come on set to cover his hits.
Dorothée “always sings very well”
According to information from our colleagues at BFMTV, Dorothée will have a nice surprise in store for viewers during this evening marked by nostalgia. Frédérique Hoschedé, her real name, will indeed perform a brand new song on the set of the show. Is this the song mentioned by Jean-Luc Azoulay during his appearance on the show At Jordan's in September 2023? The producer then revealed that he had “a song recorded by Dorothée”. “She always sings very well, it’s always so touching,” he confided.
