Scotsman Duhan Van der Merwe was injured in the ankle last weekend during Edinburgh's victory against Vannes in the Challenge Cup. The star winger of the XV du Chardon (29 years old, 44 caps, 30 tries) is replaced in the XV du Chardon squad by the winger of Sale, Arron Reed (25 years old, 3 caps). “We called Arron to cover Duhan who is feeling some minor pain and we are monitoring the progress of his injury,” confirmed Scottish coach Gregor Townsend to the British daily The Times.
