The CAC40 closed up 0.86% at 7837 points yesterday, driven by the announcement of an artificial intelligence project including investments of at least $500 billion in infrastructure in the United States.
The Parisian index has gained 1.66% since the start of the week and 6.19% since January 1.

On the value side, Renault gained 3.09%, Legrand 2.99%, Schneider Electric 2.64%, L’Oréal 2.48%, Safran 2.42%, Dassault Systèmes 2.17%, Hermès 2.15% and LVMH 1.78% while Carrefour lost 2.41%, ArcelorMittal 2.0%, Veolia 1.99%, Kering 1.55% and BNP Paribas 1.27%.

Across the Atlantic, results that were generally better than expected also supported the buying trend. The Nasdaq100 rose 1.33% to 21,853 points, the S&P500 0.61% to 6,086 points and the Dow Jones 0.3% to 44,156 points.
Oracle jumped 6.75%, Netflix 9.69%. We will also note the good performance of Nvidia (+4.43%) and that of Microsoft (+4.13%).

This morning, the CAC40 should nevertheless take a break, with Futures contracts suggesting an initial drop of 0.1%, pending weekly unemployment claims in the United States at 2:30 p.m., Donald Trump’s intervention at 5 p.m., as well as oil stocks. .

Graphically, no change, the upward trend remains intact and only a return below 7760 points would argue for some profit taking towards 7700/7668 points.
