The Golden State Warriors visit the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday, January 21, following their worst defeat in 40 years at the hands of the Boston Celtics on Monday, January 19. The Celtics took down the Warriors 125-85, leaving star guard Stephen Curry dejected on the 39th NBA edition of MLK Day.

While the Warriors will aim to turn around their past defeat by recording a blowout win over the Kings, they will witness absence of several players including veteran Draymond Green, who missed the Celtics game as well. Green suffered a left calf strain during the Warriors’ 122-114 win over the Washington Wizards.

Green made his return after missing three straight games due to illness and a back issue; however, a calf strain forced him to walk out just three minutes into the game. As per Warriors’ update, the 34-year-old will be re-evaluated within a week and will be out of the forthcoming game, as well as those against Chicago and the LA Lakers.

On the other hand, Warriors’ star forward Jonathan Kuminga has already missed a few games now, and will remain out of the Kings’ match-up. He sustained a right ankle sprain on January 4 during the gameplay against the Memphis Grizzlies.

While the Warriors aim to secure a win against the Kings, let’s break down the injury reports by both teams which might have a severe impact on their gameplay in the forthcoming clash.
