A victory which, whatever happens, will be a landmark. And which could launch, for good, the 2.0 era of this new look PSG. In great danger in the standings and trailed by two goals by Manchester City, the Parisians came back from Diable Vauvert to overthrow the Mancuniens and claim a capital victory in the Champions League (4-2). The height of irony is that PSG is now 22nd in the standings… while City is virtually eliminated!

A crazy match, a Dantesque comeback and a fourth quarter of an hour which could go down in history. This is how we could summarize this breathtaking duel between PSG and Manchester City. We’ll skip the first half, there’s not much going on, despite the obvious but sterile domination of PSG. The start of the 2nd half is completely crazy.

Without warning, galvanized by the rise to the game of Jack GrealishManchester City suddenly goes into steamroller mode. The passes become more precise, the calls sharper and PSG takes a hit: in three minutes, Grealish and Haaland make the break. 0-2 in a stunned Parc des Princes… and air-conditioned.

But on the Parisian side, a man seems in (very) great shape. Number 29 on the back, Bradley Barcola has ants in his legs and is in all the right places. With a fantastic ride, he launched Dembélé for 1-2 before equalizing, himself, five minutes later (2-2).

2-2, everything is restarted. And we feel that the momentumhe has clearly changed sides. City suddenly retreats and begins to doubt, while PSG, revived, feels that there is a move to play. The transversal found by Ousmane Dembélé only delays the deadline, the Parisians want this victory… and they will have it.

On a long free-kick from Vitinha, the little João Neves is inexplicably forgotten at the far post. Without trembling, he crucifies Ederson and puts him in the bottom. The Parc des Princes is exultant! In stoppage time, Goncalo Ramos goes through this to definitively end the suspense. Miraculously, on the brink of the abyss, PSG remains alive! For its part, City finds itself outside the 24 qualifying places. All this, a week before facing… Club Brugge. The people of Bruges are therefore warned, Pep Guardiola and his troops no longer have the right to make mistakes…
