(GREEN BAY ATHLETICS) GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Green Bay men’s team will host its third game in six days as the IU Indy Jaguars are coming to town Wednesday night for a 6 p.m. showdown.

Green Bay comes into the game with a 2-18 mark and 0-9 in the Horizon League while IU-Indy is 6-14 overall and 2-7 in the Horizon League.

MIDSEASON REINFORCEMENTS
Prior to this Thursday’s game against Wright State, the Green Bay men’s basketball team added Jonathan Levya 6’9″ freshman forward from Hamerkaz, Israel, to the 2024-25 active roster. Levy played for Hapoel Eilat of the Israeli Basketball Premier League in 2023-24 and received final eligibility certification from the NCAA in December. In four games played, Yonatan is averaging 10.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. He had a career day last time out against Youngstown State, finishing with 18 points and four rebounds.

ABOUT THE JAGUARS
Under first-year head coach Paul Corsaro, the IU Indy Jaguars are 6-14 overall and 2-7 in the Horizon League. The Jaguars are coming into Wednesday after a pair of losses last weekend to Oakland and Cleveland State.

As a team IU Indy shoots the ball well from deep, knocking down 36.5 percent from three, which is the third-highest mark in the HL. They also make their trips to the line count, knocking down the third-highest percentage from the line at 75.6 percent. The Jags have two of the top six scorers in the Horizon League with Paul Zilinskas (17.1, 3rd), and Jarvis Walker (15.7, T-4th) leading the way. Another important piece for the team is 6-7 forward Sean Craig, who is scoring 10.7 points per game and pulling down 7.9 rebounds per contest.

Green Bay is 10-10 all-time against the IU Indy Jaguars. Green Bay has won six of the last eight. The Phoenix is 6-4 at home against the Jags.

Sunday afternoon’s game between the Green Bay men’s basketball team and the Youngstown State Penguins came down to the wire, with the Penguins edging out the Phoenix, 73-69.
