LOUISVILLE, Ky. — LG&E and KU are asking their customers to conserve their energy as much as possible Tuesday night so there isn’t a strain on the energy grid.

The coldest air of the season is upon central Kentucky, with the actual temperature expected to fall in the single digits. The wind chill temperatures could swing well below 0° overnight.
