The technical staff of the Egyptian U-17 national team, led by Ahmed Al-Kass, is awaiting the results of the draw that will take place next week, to determine its competitors in the African Nations Championship, which will be held in Morocco next March.
The Egyptian junior national team, born in 2008, under the leadership of Ahmed Al-Kass, participated in a closed camp for three days, as part of its serious preparations for the African Cup of Nations, which Morocco will host from March 30 to April 19.
The camp began last Sunday at the National Teams Center and ended yesterday, Tuesday, and the technical staff of the Egyptian national team selected 35 players, including 15 from the basic squad and 20 new players. The technical staff gives them the opportunity for the first time to watch them in person in training and evaluate them closely.
The draw for the tournament is scheduled to take place on January 27th, the opening match will be held on Sunday, March 30th, and the final match will be played on Saturday, April 19th.
