Jamal Musiala is afraid of the magic of De Kuip. The star player of Bayern Munich looked ahead to the Champions League match with Feyenoord in Rotterdam on Tuesday. The playmaker had also analyzed coach Brian Priske’s team.
“We will not underestimate Feyenoord,” Musiala said at the press conference in Feyenoord’s stadium. ‘I hope we win tomorrow, but a few of my friends played here. They warned me: the fans will be very loud.’
Musiala is looking forward to that. ‘I’m looking forward to the match. I feel fresh and am getting better and better. I have recovered from an injury in the last few matches. I now have energy and feel good. The trainer will determine how long I can play on Wednesday evening.’
When Musiala was asked about the Feyenoord players, he was momentarily embarrassed. ‘I’m not good with names. But we have already had a meeting to analyze them. They are good on the counter and have talent and quality.’
-‘Feyenoord is good on the ball,’ said Musiala. Bayern will therefore have their knives sharpened on Wednesday evening. ‘We will approach it like any other match. We will do everything we can to win.’
