Only the fresh produce brand FRESH is affected by this procedure. The incriminated minced steak was put on sale there on the shelf self-service butcher. The product comes in a tray of 2 x 125 g with the words “butcher-style minced steak 5%” unbranded.
The number of lot concerned is the 25013-4787. The code GTIN associated (found under the barcode) is the 3700502700527. The expiration date for this minced steak is set at 21/01/2025. Some consumers have been able to freeze the meat and vigilance therefore remains necessary.
What are the risks?
Tests meeting health requirements have highlighted a biological contamination of this chopped steak. In fact, the product contains a strain of Salmonella spp. This bacteria can, after consumption, cause a toxic infection of the type salmonellosis.
