German automobile association calls for “economic strength” against Trump – 01/21/2025

The president of the German automobile association said Donald Trump posed a challenge to Germany and Europe, which must become more independent and competitive in everything from energy to defense, while calling for political change within the German government.

“We need a change of mentality and a change of policy,” Hildegard Mueller said at the association’s annual press conference. “After Trump’s inauguration, it is clear how decisive economic strength will be in the future.”
