With start number two, Julia Scheib, the Austrian with the best chance of a very good place, goes into the race. She has already been on a giant slalom podium once this season, and two more top ten places followed. Stephanie Brunner, Ricarda Haaser and Franziska Gritsch are still among the first 30 starters. They wear the 20, 22 and 25 on the jersey. Nina Astner, Victoria Oliver, Viktoria Bürgler and Katharina Rumpf then follow a little further back in the field.
