A fire broke out at the Grand Kartal Hotel in Kartalkaya Ski Resort, one of Turkey’s leading tourism regions. According to initial reports, 10 people lost their lives and 32 people were injured in the fire. While firefighters were responding to the fire that started at 03.27 in the morning, SÖZCÜ writer Nedim Türkmen was also at the hotel where the disaster occurred.
