“Avoid the area”: a fire is in progress at the Foch parking lot this Monday, January 20, 2025, in the city center of Rodez. Traffic in the area is currently blocked.
According to initial information, a car, parked on level 0 of the structure, caught fire. Firefighters, alerted after smoke was released on Boulevard Gally, are currently on site to prevent the fire from spreading further. We do not yet know how many vehicles were affected by the flames in this parking lot, welcoming many subscribers.

Note that the prefecture agents, working in the building above the Foch car park, on the eponymous square, were evacuated as a precautionary measure. Several elected officials from the City of Rodez also visited the site at the end of the morning.
