Trump said in his post: “I will fight every day for you with every breath in my body.”
He added: “I will not rest until we reach the strong, safe, and prosperous America that our children deserve and you deserve.”
He concluded his post by saying: “This will truly be America’s golden age.”
Trump was sworn in as President of the United States on Monday, returning to power again after an absence of four years following his loss of the 2020 presidential elections to Joe Biden, whose term had ended.
In his inauguration speech, Trump said that America’s golden era “has only just begun,” and that its decline “is over.”
-He added that he would not allow anyone to exploit America, stressing that: “From now on, our country will prosper and become respected.”
He stressed that he would not allow negligence and corruption in the government apparatus, considering that “the decline in the United States has ended.”
Trump did not forget to attack the administration of his predecessor Biden, saying: “The previous American government was unable to fix any crisis in the world.”
He also said that he was confident of the beginning of a new era of national success, adding: “Today I will sign a series of historic executive orders. America has now returned to the Americans.”
