The Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025 in Basel will be moderated by Michelle Hunziker, Hazel Brugger and Sandra Studer. The SRG announced this on Monday. Hunziker will only moderate the final, Brugger and Studer will also be present in the two semi-finals.
The choice of the three women is not a surprise: Hunziker documented her trip from Italy to Switzerland on Instagram that morning and hinted at her new job with a cryptic Instagram post. Brugger and Studer had also been brought into the game in advance.

“Returning home with such a big event is huge,” enthuses Hunziker, who now lives in Italy from her moderation job. “We are happy that the three of us can tackle this,” adds Brugger. “We complement each other really well and are already looking forward to working together.”
In addition to Hunziker, Brugger and Studer, long-time ESC commentator Sven Epiney and Mélanie Freymond from RTS will also receive a moderation job. The two moderate the public viewing at the song contest. They will also announce the points of the audience voting from Switzerland. Epiney will also commentate on the semi-finals and final, as he has done in previous years.
