Stade Rennais – Stade Brestois. The probable line-ups and those absent from a hot derby.

The derby between Stade Rennais and Stade Brestois promises to be hot this Saturday January 18 (7 p.m.) at Roazhon Park. Especially on the Rennes side where the crisis is brewing with a 3^e consecutive defeat at Troyes, Wednesday in the Coupe de France. After the elimination, President Arnaud Pouille banged his fist on the table in an interview with Ouest-France. The SRFC has in fact recorded the four-day sidelining (Albert Gronbaek, Glen Kamara, Baptiste Santamaria and Gauthier Gallon), who will not participate in the derby. Jota, affected in the adductor according to Jorge Sampaoli, is also uncertain.

The Bretillians should, on the other hand, find their center forward Arnaud Kalimuendo, expected at the forefront of the attack. Amine Gouiri could pay the price if Sampaoli decides to keep Seko Fofana as left winger like in Troyes.

At least seven absent in Brest

On the Brest side, the trip on Wednesday January 22 to Gelsenkirchen (Germany) to challenge Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League is already on people’s minds.
