West Ham v Crystal Palace

Graham Potter’s West Ham United hope to do the double over London rivals Crystal Palace after the side won 0-2 in the August fixture, with goals from Tomas Soucek and Jarrod Bowen winning  the points. Form suggests Crystal Palace are in the driving seat, however, unbeaten in the last four since losing 5-1 to Arsenal.

The team chosen by Hammers’ new head coach depends largely upon the availability of Crysencio Summerville: Our training ground source yesterday seemed upbeat that he would make the starting eleven after recovering from a hamstring tweak last week. So for our ‘guess’ at the likely starting eleven, we are assuming he’s ‘in’. That means three centre backs, two wing backs and – some kind of ‘Heath Robinson’ makeshift front line in the absence of Niclas Fullkrug!

Our predicted starting eleven is (3-4-3)

Fabianaski | Wan Bissaka, Mavropanos, Kilman | Summerville, Alvarez, Soucek (c), Emerson| Kudus, Paquetá, Soler

Score predictions: A more upbeat quartet this week!
