Anna Gasser loses podium place in Laax

Anna Gasser narrowly missed the podium in slopestyle in fourth place at the Snowboard World Cup in Laax (Switzerland) on Saturday.

The Carinthian, double Olympic champion in Big Air, achieved 70.18 points in the first run, which meant third place. In the second, she lacks the speed for higher-rated tricks and slips off the podium.

The British Mia Brookes (84.86) wins ahead of the New Zealander Zoi Sadowski Synnott (77.29) and the Japanese Kokomo Murase (71.15).
