about one Thirty people have been injured in the accident that took place this morning at the Astún station, after a chairlift derailed. The two very serious cases, two 18-year-old girls, have been evacuated due to trauma to the Clinical Hospital and the Miguel Servet Hospital in Zaragoza. Another 67-year-old woman and an 11-year-old minor, seriously injured, have been transferred to the San Jorge Hospital in Huesca and Jaca, respectively. Additionally, six people have been slightly injured (three women and three men). Three of them left on their own and another three by ambulance due to discomfort in the lower back and a broken calf. A total of 20 people have been treated on site at the station itself and were discharged immediately.
The accident took place at 11:50 this morning and numerous emergency teams have been alerted and activated by 112 to attend to those affected.
The Aragonese Government has confirmed that at least thirty people have been affected by the accident and that it is 112 that coordinates the rescue efforts.
