The Norwegian federation announced via a press release the end of Johannes Boe's career at the end of winter.
Family before the Olympic dream
While the subject of the press conference planned by the Norwegian biathlon federation had not leaked, it is with surprise that we learn that Johannes Boe will end his biathlete career at the end of the season .
“Over the last six seasons, I have combined high-level sport with family life. It was fantastic, but also very difficult. According to the plan, I was going to continue for another year, but an Olympic commitment demands even more, including from those around me. I still love competition, but competition days are few compared to all the other days“, explained Johannes Boe via the press release from the Norwegian federation.
-An iconic biathlete for a decade and holder of numerous records, Johannes Boe will compete in his last races in Holmenkollen in March at the end of this season.
