This Thursday, Arte will delight thriller fans with Sandhamn Murders. Here, we will be treated to episode 9 of season 3, entitled Max. A rebroadcast which will plunge Nora and Alexander into a particular investigation… Indeed, between the prosecutor and the investigator, love will take over, but on the sidelines of this, several strange events will follow one another. Nora will have the impression of being followed, until a corpse is found in the apartment of one of her distant colleagues…
Sandhamn Murders : a series with a style all its own
A convoluted plot, far from relying on gore, in the purest tradition of Viveca Sten's novels. Indeed, the Swedish woman at the top of bookstore sales, never wanted to focus on bloody crimes and other horrific atrocities. Interviewed by TF1 Several years ago, the author shared her way of seeing things: “I don't like books where there is a lot of violence, blood: ten pages to describe exploded brains and broken fingers, that's not necessary! I prefer a rather complex plot, where the we think a little, I'm more Agatha Christie than Mickey Spillane In American thrillers, the detectives are always old, tired, they drink too much, they have problems with their children…”
Sandhamn Murders : crime is far from reigning on the Swedish island
A way of doing things which, nevertheless, does not abandon the very source of the thriller: suspicious murders. Always at TF1Viveca Sten had shared surfing on this on her website, highlighting the island of Sandhamn in a funny way: “On my website, there is a map that lists all the places on the island where “my” bodies were found. Today, we see groups of tourists walking around, map in hand, at the looking for these places, it's funny… More seriously, the only real murderer I know on the island was a young woman who killed her baby. There must have been others, too. At the time, there were no police officers the island, it already took three days to get to Sandhamn, so there is no official killing.”
