WALL – In the opening match of the 20th week of the Trendyol Super League, Atakaş Hatayspor hosted Galatasaray in Mersin.
Hatayspor’s new coach Murat Şahin started his first match with his first 11 including Bekaj, Kamil Ahmet Çörekçi, Kilama, Calvo, Cemali Sertel, Diack, Abdulkadir Parmak, Görkem Sağlam, Fernandes, Rivas and Aboubakar.
Galatasaray, on the other hand, took the field with Fernando Muslera, Kaan Ayhan, Davinson Sanchez, Abdülkerim Bardakcı, Ismail Jakobs, Lucas Torreira, Berkan Kutlu, Yunus Akgün, Dries Mertens, Barış Alper Yılmaz and Victor Osimhen.
Hatayspor took the lead with Cemali Sertel’s goal in the 28th minute. At Görkem Sağlam’s corner kick from the right side, Rivas headed the ball into the goal area. Cemali Sertel, who kicked the ball in the carom, scored: 1-0
Galatasaray tied the game with the goal scored by Osimhen from the penalty spot in the 56th minute: 1-1.
-There was no other goal in the remaining minutes and the match ended in a 1-1 draw. With this score, Galatasaray increased to 51 points and Hatayspor to 10 points.
Galatasaray lost points away from home for the first time this season.
