TFC in the Coupe de France: a new poster at the Stadium! We know Toulouse's opponent for the round of 16

New reception, and new Ligue 2 for the TFC. Hauts Lyonnais (National 3), Stade Lavallois (Ligue 2) and now En Avant Guingamp (Ligue 2). This Thursday evening, the day after the Violets' victory at the Stadium (2-1), the draw for the round of 16 of the Coupe de France determined the next opponent of TFC, winner of the competition in 2023.

It is a rematch of the 2009 semi-final which will be played at the Stadium on Tuesday 4 or Wednesday 5 February. More than 15 years ago, the Violets were deprived of a final at the Stade de France when the Guingampais came to win in the Pink City at the very end of the match (1-2). Relegated to Ligue 2 in the summer of 2019, En Avant Guingamp is currently 7th in its championship. During the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 seasons, the four confrontations between the two teams ended in three draws and a victory for Toulouse in Brittany (2-4).
