In 2024, the Le Mans circuit was elected the French people's favorite monument. The visibility acquired by the place beyond the world of racing and car/motorcycle passion was very important for the Sarthe monument through the broadcast of the public service dedicated to the favorite monuments of the French, and this, in the middle of the year restoration of the Notre Dame de Paris cathedral.
The general recognition of the importance of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, a century-old event which is still as modern as ever, and more broadly, of the Le Mans circuit, which also hosts the French MotoGP Grand Prix (this is the event of the busiest MotoGP calendar in terms of spectators each year) is thus well established.
