Muhammad Abdel Nabawi, President-Delegate of the Supreme Council of the Judicial Authority, held the Registry responsible for the failure of the normal conduct of judicial sessions in the Kingdom’s courts by the year 2024.
The President of the Court of Cassation revealed this during his speech at the opening of the judicial year on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
The number of files left behind for the year 2024 reached a total of 577,851 files.
It is noteworthy that the clerks’ staff, with its various union backgrounds, went on strikes that lasted for weeks, which caused the Kingdom’s courts to enter into complete paralysis, causing a number of files to accumulate.
