“François Bayrou did not at all understand the climate emergency and the importance of the ecological transition”, deplores Wednesday January 15 Anne Bringault on France Inter, program director of the Climate Action Network which brings together 27 associations on the subject in France, the day after the general policy declaration.
In this one and a half hour speech, the Prime Minister “achieved the feat of never mentioning the climate emergency”denounces Anne Bringault. According to her, François Bayrou completely missed the point. “On the ecological transition, he remained stuck in the old world”still regrets the director of the NGO, “This is particularly worrying.”
The NGO regrets that the Prime Minister “forward nuclear, but not at all renewables, the renovation of buildings, nor sobriety which are essential levers.” The Prime Minister confirmed the objective of decarbonizing the energy sector by relying on nuclear and geothermal energy in his general policy declaration on Tuesday.
