Muscat, Jan. 14 (BNA): In honour of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the Sultanate of Oman hosted a state dinner at Al Alam Palace during HM the King’s (state visit) to Oman.
Commemorative gifts were exchanged between His Majesty the King and His Majesty the Sultan.
The dinner was attended by the official delegation of HM the King and senior Omani officials.
The Royal Guard band performed the Bahraini national anthem.
During the dinner, His Majesty the King and His Majesty the Sultan reflected on the strong ties and shared history between Bahrain and Oman, emphasising their mutual commitment to further developing their relations for the benefit of both nations and their people. HM the King expressed his thanks and appreciation to HM the Sultan for the warm hospitality, highlighting the depth of Bahraini-Omani relations.
His Majesty Sultan Haitham expressed confidence that the visit would further bolster the close ties between the two countries, further developing progress and prosperity for their peoples, and wished Bahrain continued success under the leadership of His Majesty the King.
The dinner concluded with the Omani national anthem performed by the musical band.
