The eighth finals of the KNVB Cup are on the program this week. At the same time, this also means that a new draw is coming. When will the draw for the quarter-finals of the cup tournament take place? VoetbalPrimeur tells the story.
A total of eight matches will be played on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The cup round kicks off with a cracker between AZ and Ajax and with Noordwijk and Barendrecht there are also two amateur teams facing each other. PSV, Feyenoord, FC Twente, Feyenoord and FC Utrecht are all still in the cup tournament.
The eighth finals of the KNVB Cup will be completed with a match between Quick Boys and SC Heerenveen on Thursday evening. After that match, the eight remaining clubs will be known who will compete in the quarter-finals.
When is the draw for the quarter-finals of the KNVB Cup?
The draw for the eighth finals of the KNVB Cup will take place on Friday January 17. The draw will be made in the ESPN program De Voetbalkantine. The broadcast begins at 5 p.m. on ESPN 1.

The eight remaining clubs will have to play again on February 4, 5 or 6, when the quarter-finals of the cup tournament will be played. The four winners will logically qualify for the semi-finals.
