A small part of the RN57 was cut off to traffic, following an accident near Épinal in the middle of the afternoon this Monday. The circumstances are still unclear, but according to initial information collected, a vehicle lost a pallet on the expressway.

A loss which would then have led to an accident, involving two other vehicles. The latter two were allegedly struck by a pallet that fell from the first vehicle.

To allow emergency services to intervene safely at this location, near Razimont, in the direction of Épinal-, the RN57 was cut off to traffic. A diversion has been put in place towards Deyvillers. Firefighters and police intervened on site, as well as agents from the Dir-Est.

At 4:35 p.m., the road was completely cleared and traffic returned to normal. The accident did not cause any injuries.
