Amélie Di Vincenzo explains: “What made it possible to locate her were the efforts made by the Charleroi police services, but also the disappearance unit of the federal police. Significant resources were implemented, such as tracking dogs and the federal police helicopter. And finally, it was the use of surveillance cameras that made it possible to locate this little girl and find her safe and sound.“.
The 9-year-old minor, visually and hearing impaired, had been missing since Sunday evening. She was last seen near her home located on rue de Sélestat in Charleroi.
