This Monday, January 13, “Scènes de Ménages” will welcome a new couple played by Élodie Poux and Majid Berhila. The two actors spoke about their arrival in the M6 series.
Who says new year, says new couple for the big Scènes de Ménages family. This Monday, January 13, M6's flagship series will indeed welcome two new characters who will strengthen the ranks of the channel's cult program.
Who play the two new characters?
A new couple formed by Elodie Poux and Majid Berhila, two comedians well known to viewers, will thus make their debut in Scènes de Ménages. They will lend their features to Alice and Sofiane, a couple of mid-mountain grocers whose apartment is located just above their shop. Both must therefore manage a personal life combined with a professional life, and support each other 24 hours a day.
The faces of the two actors are probably not unknown to M6 viewers. Elodie Poux was indeed popularized thanks to her one-woman shows, notably the “Playmobil Syndrome” which brought together more than 1.2 million viewers when it was broadcast on W9 in April 2023.
She also made appearances in Murders in Arles, The Incredible Bottleage and Like Kids. For his part, Majid Berhila is one of the members of the Lascars Gays duo, discovered in the show On n'demande qu'à en riz by Laurent Ruquier.
“It’s a huge opportunity!”
In an interview given to our colleagues at Leisure TVElodie Poux and Majid Berhila looked back on their arrival in Scènes de Ménages, and on what pushed them to accept this opportunity.
“I think there are some programs that are impossible to refuse. And this is the case of Household Scenes” explained Élodie Poux. “People love this daily, it is part of the audiovisual landscape. It's a huge chance.”
Majid Behrila also confided his happiness in joining the series: “Everyone knows this series, which celebrated its 15th anniversary. When I go to my parents' house, we watch Household Scenes together! It is a great pride for me to participate..”
And very quickly, the two actors managed to find their chemistry. “From the casting, it was a match between us!” explained Élodie Poux to our colleagues. “Today, we feel like we've been married for fifteen years!”
