Venzezia-Inter, CM’s report cards: Lautaro shaken, Sommer shutters. Idzes impassable | Front page

VENICE-INTER 0-1

REPORT CARD VENICE

Stankovic 6.5: Surprised by Lautaro’s speed of execution, he clears but not very well and Darmian taps it into the bag. He opposes better against a left-handed player, again from Lautaro, but from a tight position. He keeps his team afloat by hypnotizing Frattesi face to face.

Idzes 7: He is the leader of Di Francesco’s defense and it shows on the pitch. He unravels several dangerous opportunities and is very good at blocking Lautaro who had kicked with certainty. Miraculous also on Frattesi.

Sverko 5.5: If Taremi doesn’t find the goal it’s not so much thanks to him but because the Iranian makes a lot of mistakes.
Sacred 5.5: 20′ of play are enough to go into total crisis against Lautaro. Then he leaves the field, sidelined by a muscle injury.)

(Dal 26’ Haps 6: Offers greater balance).

Zampano 5: Held back by Carlos Augusto, he does not produce any useful initiatives.

(dal 43’ s.t. Gytkjaer: s.v.)

It will be 6: In the first half he leaves several holes behind him and Inter continually intrudes, like when Darmian finds the advantage. In the second half he hits a big post.

Nicolussi Ankle 6.5: In the middle of the pitch with great personality and the right timing.
(Dal 43’ s.t. Conde: s.v.)

Doumbia 6: Leg and determination, he creates some problems on his side, then comes out exhausted.

(Dal 25’ s.t. Bjarkason 5.5: To add freshness, but you can barely see it).

Ellertsson 5.5: Unbalanced, Inter often find space behind them.

Oristanio 5.5: Often caught in the grip of the Nerazzurri shirts. He finds his first real shot at the start of the second half, but it ends very high. Yes, he takes on a lot of responsibility and considering the doubles that arrive on time, the Nerazzurri respect him a lot.

(Dal 25’ s.t. Yeboah 6,5: He enters with the right attitude and with a couple of bursts he immediately makes Carlos Augusto and Bastoni understand that he deserves the right attention, so much so that Inzaghi above all reminds the Brazilian not to get up too high.
Bottom fire 6: A battle for every ball played, they can’t move it even with force. Yes it sacrifices a lot but then it stings little.

E. Di Francesco 6: He loses narrowly and creates some problems for Inter. Unlucky evening.

INTER

Sommer 7: Called to overtime on Doumbia’s close range header, he lowers the shutter. Ditto at the end of the second half, when he swallows Pohjanpalo’s central shot.

Darmian 7: Darmian sees the space and gets into it with hope, fate rewards him because the ball arrives at his feet after Stankovic’s deflection and he doesn’t allow himself to be prayed for to put the 1-0 in the net. First half of great readings, in the second half it takes a bit of breath.
de Vrij 6: Full physical duel against Pohjanpalo, from start to finish. He remains standing and emerges unscathed.

Sticks 6: Follows Pohjanpalo’s cut and thwarts a potential big chance. He’s starting to feel tired, even the left-handed player isn’t as precise as usual.

Dumfries 6: Bad sleep in the area on Dumbia, who almost pierces Sommer. The push on the wing is constant, he also creates a great scoring opportunity by stealing the ball in the opponent’s half of the pitch.

(Dal 31’ s.t. Pavard: s.v.)

Stretcher 6: A little restrained, he struggles to find the play but in the middle of the field he grits his teeth despite a less than optimal physical condition.
(Dal 37’ s.t. Dimarco: s.v.)

Aslan 6: The verticalization for Lautaro is perfect, then the Argentine does the rest. He infuriates Inzaghi when he gets a yellow card by knocking out Nicolussi Caviglia who had passed him the ball too simply.

(From 17′ st Frattesi 6: He immediately finds the opening by slipping between Haps and Ellertsson, but in front of Stankovic he tries a weak outside Stankovic opposes. He loses a bad shot and Venezia starts on the counterattack, finishing the action with Busio’s post. Thuram offers him another great goal, but this time it is Idzes who blocks his shot.)
Zielinski 6: He plays his honest game without high notes, with Asllani’s exit from the field he proceeds as a point guard.

Charles Augustus 6: He has time and space, the position is right, the ball drops slowly, everything seems perfect for a great goal. Instead he coordinates poorly and shoots through the roof. He offers Frattesi a perfect assist to close the score but the midfielder wastes it.

Chapter 5,5: The right opportunity comes to him at least three times, but his aim is dramatic. He cleans a lot of balls, but it’s not enough.

(Dal 17’ s.t. Thuram 5,5: He comes in to bring the team up, but fails.)
Lautaro 6.5: Hook and shot in a fraction of a second, Stankovic also surprises as he can only deflect, but onto Darmian’s feet.

(Dal 31’ s.t. Arnautovic 5: Useless like few other things in the middle of a football field)

S. Inzaghi 6: Inter struggles but takes home the three points, the only one among the teams involved in the Super Cup.
