After thirteen weeks of intense competition, four students won their place in the semi-finals: Ebony, Charles, Franck and Marine. Ebony, the first semi-finalist of the season, chose during the previous bonus to face Franck next week. This Saturday, January 11, it was Charles and Marine who were face to face to open the semi-finals.
The two students with powerful voices have been able to demonstrate their technical prowess over the weeks. More determined than ever, they fought to secure a place in the final. “Being against Marine for the semi-final, obviously that puts a little pressure”recognized Charles. “Charles he scares me, It’s true that he’s a formidable opponent.but I’m still very happy to share a bonus with him, he’s a crazy singer”for her part explained Marine.

Saturday January 11, TF1 broadcast the first semi-final of the season. As with each bonus, several artists came to share the stage with the students, including Santa. The latter offered a medley of her greatest titles alongside Marine and Charles. Other renowned artists also responded. Marine was able to sing the title in a duet with Charlotte Cardin Feel Good. For his part, Charles took over the song Like a Hobo alongside Charlie Winston.
They were also treated to a solo performance. Marine took over My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion and Charles SOS to an earthling in distress by Daniel Balavoine. Two songs that marked their respective adventures. Two international artists were also present for this semi-final: Sting, who sang with Marine and Charles, and Shaggy, who shared the stage with Ebony and Franck. At the end of the evening, it was ultimately Charles who definitively left the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys. The first finalist of the season is therefore Marine. A young artist who will not have been unworthy.
