Three Belgian titles to be distributed
The Cyclo-Cross Championships in Zolder will start with a bang due to the freezing cold. In order not to take unnecessary risks with the slippery conditions, the newcomers and the junior women will soon complete their championships together.
In the first category, the U17, both first-year and second-year students will compete for a Belgian champion’s jersey. At the same time, it is up to the juniors to share the title of best Belgian.
We will therefore enter the field with 41 women, approximately the same number as later this afternoon when the elite, promises and elite 2 will again compete for a trio of tricolors.
