In Nantes, a 58-year-old woman was sexually assaulted while jogging on Sunday December 5. Five people intervened to help him and hold down his attacker, while waiting for the police to arrive.
Around 11 a.m. on Sunday December 5, a jogger was sexually assaulted in Nantes, according to information from Figaro. Aged 58, the victim was tackled to the ground by a young man of 18 years of Somali origin.
“He brought his pelvis closer to his face. The victim understood that she was going to be forced to perform oral sex given the position of her attacker,” explains a person close to the case to our colleagues. The woman, trying to struggle, screamed for help and bit her attacker on the hand.
An “involuntary” gesture according to him
A passerby, who witnessed the scene, immediately helped the jogger. Four other people joined him to subdue the attacker until the police arrived. Immediately placed in police custody, he claimed that his action was “involuntary”.
