Despite a 19-point lead, Monday on the Chicago floor, Victor Wembanyama (23 points, 14 rebounds, 8 blocks) and the Spurs were overthrown by the Bulls (114-110). Reverse scenario in Minnesota where the Wolves and Rudy Gobert (8 points, 18 rebounds) won (108-106) against the Clippers of Nicolas Batum (3 points, 3 rebounds) despite a delay which reached 19 points there too.

The Spurs overthrown, the Wolves revolted. Monday evening in the NBA gave rise to two similar scenarios during meetings, both involving French players. With the difference, however, that Victor Wembanyama, despite an impressive match once again, must have been disillusioned with San Antonio, when Rudy Gobert, like his Wolves teammates, was able to leave the floor with a broad smile, certainly in having experienced a great fright. Opposed to the Bulls on the floor of Chicago, “Wemby” and the Texans seemed well on their way to raising their heads after their setback against Denver. Unfortunately for the Spurs, a lead of 19 points at the height of their domination and another 15 points at the start of the last quarter was not enough for them to resist the revolt of Coby White (23 points), Zach LaVine (35 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists) and the Bulls. Author of 23 points, 14 rebounds, 8 blocks and 4 assists, Wembanyama had the ball to equalize nine seconds from the end, but he did not hit the three-point mark.

The Suns relaunch against Yabusele's Sixers

Like Chicago against San Antonio, Minnesota was stunning at home against Nicolas Batum's Clippers (3 points and 3 rebounds in 13 minutes) during the reunion between Rudy Gobert and the hero of the semi-final of the Tokyo Olympics with the Blues. A badly beaten time, with 19 points behind the Californians, the Wolves completely reversed the situation, thanks in particular to a phenomenal finish from their superstar Anthony Edwards, author of 37 points. For his part, Rudy Gobert, who spent 38 minutes on the floor Monday, compiled 8 points and 18 rebounds. In the absence of their star pivot Joel Embiid, injured in one foot, the Sixers and Guerschon Yabusele, who scored a double-double (14 points, 10 rebounds), for their part, had a cup at home (109-99) against the Suns who had four defeats. Now coming off the bench, Bradley Beal (25 points in 30 minutes) really hurt Philadelphia.
