A 51-year-old French actor was arrested at 8 p.m. on 1is January, by the BAC and the public highway brigade of the PAF (border police) at Lyon Saint-Exupéry station.
The police officers acted on letters rogatory as part of a judicial investigation opened for murder by the Avignon public prosecutor's office (Vaucluse).
Violent fight
According to France Bleu, a violent fight took place on Wednesday noon in the city center of Apt (Vaucluse). A resident in his fifties was discovered unconscious on a public road, near a bar. Showing numerous marks of blows, he succumbed to his injuries during the day.
The gendarmes from the Apt research brigade, responsible for the investigation, quickly identified the perpetrator of the attacks who had taken the Avignon-Paris train. They broadcast his report and on Wednesday, the Lyon police officers were stationed at Saint-Exupéry station.

The suspect was arrested in his wagon without putting up any resistance. He was placed in police custody in the PAF premises at Saint-Exupéry airport before being placed at the disposal of the Vaucluse gendarmes, around 11 p.m. The victim would be his former brother-in-law. The reason for the fight would be a family disagreement. The suspect was unaware that he had died from his injuries, according to his first statements to the police.
According to our information, the man arrested is the actor Dimitri Boetto, who notably played the role of Mario in the Netflix series So far, so good (2023) and Ishak's role in the film The last queen (2023).
We also saw him in the TV movie Next to his pumps (2023) with Francis Perrin and in the film Burn out (2018) with François Civil.
Boxing and martial arts enthusiast
He practices boxing and combat sports at a high level, as well as shooting, according to his agency.
In an interview given to the Youtube channel Skudmedia in May 2023, the actor, looking back on his life and career, spoke of a stint in prison in his youth. “Television came to me at two moments in my life. When I was in boarding school (…) and when I was incarcerated for several years for acts of criminal association and possession of weapons. (…) I had the wrong codes. I expressed myself with the codes of a young male full of testosterone and it landed me in prison.”
The autopsy of the victim, who lived in the Aptesian city, must take place this Friday morning at the Nîmes forensic institute, according to Vaucluse-Matin.
