According to a recent survey, the United States expects the stock market to rise in 2025. This survey, carried out among 100,000 Americans between December 4 and 15, reveals that 66% of participants expect stock indices to rise. , marking an increase of 30 points compared to the 2023 outlook.
However, this same share of people anticipate an intensification of political conflict and international discord, creating an explosive cocktail for the United States in 2025. Only 23% of Americans expect positive political cooperation under the Trump administration, and 32% expect some international peace in 2025. These figures, although pessimistic, show an improvement over the 2023 results, where only 9% and 14% of respondents hoped political cooperation and international peace in 2014. The impact on the crypto market
The impact of these predictions on the crypto market is notable. Historically, a sustained rise in the U.S. stock market often coincides with a Bitcoin (BTC) rally, with investors inclined to take on more risk. Despite these challenges, the crypto forecast for 2025 is generally positive. Additionally, about 54% of respondents expect an increase or full employment, and 52% expect reasonable price growth. Nevertheless, a significant share of respondents see 2025 as a year of economic difficulties, due to the growing budget deficit in the United States.
